A village and an underground detour

Two checked destinations point you in different directions from the map origin. Choose between a village visit and a separate underground expedition.

Overhead map of Java 1.21.1 seed 8675309 around X 0, Z 0, showing a village and an underground detour.
Our calculated 2D map, centered at X 0, Z 0, across 1,024 blocks. Trees and surface materials are illustrations; the image does not show individual finished blocks.

Use direction as well as distance

The nearest checked village lies northwest of the origin, while the checked trial chamber start lies southeast. This is a useful example of why the order of a trip matters: visiting both means crossing back through the wider central area.

Compare the terrain at the same zoom before choosing a home location. A site between the markers may shorten horizontal travel, but the map cannot tell you whether it has the building materials, cave access or views you personally want.

Checked places to visit

These are the centers of structure start chunks confirmed in a freshly generated official Java 1.21.1 world. A doorway, chest or underground room can lie elsewhere. X and Z alone do not tell you a safe Y height.

Village marker X -296, Z -312 to trial chamber marker X 200, Z 184 is about 701 horizontal blocks. The chamber lies 496 blocks east and 496 south of the village. Plan those as separate visits and inspect the route rather than treating the diagonal map distance as travel time.

Before you choose this world

The chamber’s depth and entrances were not recorded for this guide. There is no claim of a shared surface complex, unusually rich loot or a village beside the actual world spawn.

Use default Java 1.21.1 generation with structures enabled. This article does not verify Bedrock, newer versions, mods or chunks carried over from an older world. The map center is a planning reference, not a promise about your starting spawn.

Open it in Minecraft

  1. Create a new Java 1.21.1 world and paste the full seed, including a minus sign if present. Leave world generation at its default settings.
  2. Keep the map open beside the game. Use the X/Z table to plan your route and check the local terrain before travelling.
  3. Save a view when you find an area you like. A shared map link preserves the location; copying just the seed does not.

For coordinate help, read coordinates and chunks. If the world differs, follow the mismatch checklist.

What was checked

Locations checked on 1 November 2026. The named structure starts were read from fully generated chunks made by the official Java 1.21.1 server. This confirms those locations in that setup; it does not verify every marker, cave, chest item or tree across the seed. The image is a capture of our map, not an in-game photograph.
