Local storage keeps recent history and named saved views in this browser profile. The application does not transmit these entries to a server or synchronize them to other devices. Returning to the same seed, edition, version and dimension updates its history entry rather than storing a duplicate. The two lists are separate: recent history is automatic; named views are saved when you choose Save view.
Clear recent map history
Open Home, select Recent maps, then choose Clear recent history. This removes automatic history from the current browser without removing your named saved views. The next map you open can start a new history entry.
For identification in your browser’s site-data tools, the recent-history entry is minecraft-seed-explorer.history.v1. Named views use minecraft-seed-explorer.views.v1. These storage names are not accounts or server identifiers.
Remove named saved views
You can use the map without saving a view. Remove individual entries on the map or use the button below to remove all views saved by this website in the current browser.
This clears only the saved-view entry used by this application. It leaves recent history in place and does not delete a Minecraft world or remove unrelated browser data.
You can also manage this website’s stored data through your browser’s site-data settings. Private browsing may remove both lists when the session closes. If storage is blocked, you can still calculate maps, but recent history and saving or restoring views may be unavailable.
Advertising and analytics
The website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. No account or sign-in cookies are needed. If these features change, the storage inventory and any required privacy choices must change with them.
